|
|
Hi,
I've just started using adblock v0.5 d2 on three separate computers running Mozilla 1.6 under Mac OS X 10.2.8 and am very impressed with it.
One thing I've noticed, though, is that on one of my machines if adblock is installed then the Quicktime plugin refuses function. Mozilla complains that it doesn't know how to handle media of that type and offers to download it. Uninstalling adblock restores Quicktime plugin function and Quicktime movies display in the browser. Reinstalling adblock once again blocks Quicktime plugin function.
I wonder what's going on in this particular case? Tips on how to diagnose the problem would be appreciated.

I'm seeing the same thing. Went to the Quicktime Test Page http://www.mozilla.org/quality/browser/front-end/testcases/plugins/quicktimetest.html to see what it said. Some test work ok, som eare blocked by AdBlock.
Does anyone know what's causing this?
Thanks,
Mr.Mike

I tried Mozilla's Quicktime test page mentioned above, and test 2 and 4 does not work, no matter if I have Adblock installed or not.
Can you give an example of a page with a Quicktime movie that works without Adblock, but is broken when Adblock is installed? _________________ Adblock 0.5.3.042
