| I made the mistake of installing Adblock, but then uninstalled it after it blocked 'tabs' for my email. Unfortunately, uninstalling didn't work. I uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox. The ghost of Adblock still lingers. HELP! I don't want to go back to IE. |

Firstly what version of Adblock are you running, Adblock 0.5.2.039 doesn't come with any filters so it shouldn't block anything when you first install it. Or was it the mod version that's been floating around called Adblock Plus?
To uninstall, this should be done via "Tools->Extensions" then simply select Adblock and click on the uninstall tab at the bottom. Did you try to uninstall Adblock by choosing "Deinstall" from its menus? This is known to cause a few problems.
If all else fails then see this post on how to properly reinstall Firefox so that Adblock will be gone.
