|
|
I use the Bookmarks Synchronizer extension for Firefox all the time and love it (some bugs aside); it uploads my bookmarks to my web server on exit, and checks for changes on start-up. This lets me run Firefox on multiple machines and have the same bookmarks on every machine, much like the old Netscape LDAP storage feature.
How difficult would it be to either a) make an Adblock Synchronizer extension that does the same thing or b) integrate this kind of feature into Adblock itself?
Assuming it were done, the most interesting feature would be the ability to set an arbitrary number of download sources so that 'master lists' could be checked for more regexs to block. _________________ --

I as well use the Sync Bookmark and love it. Sync-ability would definatly be a big plus for this extension in my opinion. |

Keep the suggestions coming guys. No promises will be made as to which features will be implemented, but your posts are not ignored. _________________ Adblock 0.5.3.042

I came to this forum with the intent of adding a post to make this exact suggestion. I'm glad I didn't have to.
I would *really* like this feature. Life is a little bit better since I installed Bookmark Sync, and would be even sweeter if I could sync my block list between browsers. |
