I see a lot of advertisements using Akamai.net servers. I block like:
http://a248.e.akamai.net/m/800/1133/1111524506/oasc02.247realmedia.com/RealMedia/ads/*
There are so many that I have like 15 lines like these. I heard some sites use Akamai.net for other non-advertisements as well. has anyone figured out a good way to block these ad ones?

To answer your question:
1) that ad will be blocked by any rule which blocks the word ads with or without delimiters such as /\Wads[\W\d]/ or /\Wads?[\W\d]/ and do on.
2) I block akamai with /akamai\.net(?!.*but)/ which does not block the buttons they serve on a site I am interested in.
3) G does not block it in his filters so any filter may give too many false positives. |

Do I just add *RealMedia/ads*? Will this be enough?
