This is not an Adblock feature. You need to use CSS.

Some Google ads can be removed and some can not. Add this filter and see if it helps:

Hmm, I tried *.googlesyndication.com, but http://www.compfused.com/directlink/890/ crashes. Sad This is with remove ads. Hide ads worked.
