in some cases, the adblock tab is annoying, for example, in a university forum, there is an equations applet embedded in messages, and adblock tab above the applet ends up hiding some of the message text.
is there a way to tell adblock not to show that tab?
maybe leave pages from that site alone altogether?

It seems that a way of disabling the object-tab was recently discovered. You can read more at http://aasted.org/adblock/viewtopic.php?t=1760.

Just turn the Obj-Tabs off from Adblock's options menu and use Flash Overlay (ctrl+shift+f) when you need to block Flash.

yeah, seen it now, thanks.
about the name, 'Object tag' wasn't very clear to me (and I am a developer).
it will be useful to add a picture of one to the menu item (if possible), so user's will know what it means.

now, about ctrl+shift+f, it works nicly from the menu, but for some reason it won't work from the keyboard.

i agree, it wasn't initially clear what obj-tabs meant.

also, the keyboard combination does not work for me, either, and i'm using windows xp, firefox 1.0.3, adblock 0.5 d2
