You can get a hacked version at:
http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/index.php?showtopic=774
Remember that it's an unofficial version, which means to come here and complain if it borks your profile.
I think the devs will release an updated official version soon.
Update:
Updated official version, compatible with 1.0PR:
http://adblock.mozdev.org/dev.html
Edited. Changed link to Adblock homepage to avoid confusion. _________________ Adblock 0.5.3.042

I wasn't able to install this update, Firefox 1.x complains that it's not a valid package. |

I wonder if the file is corrupt on one of the mirrors or something. I just tried installing it into a fresh profile and it worked just fine.
Try downloading the XPI from the Adblock homepage instead, and do a local install by dragging it onto an open browser window. _________________ Adblock 0.5.3.042

Something's wrong with your setup -- either the profile or app itself. I just installed fine from that mirror.
.
Try a new profile, first. Then, reinstall Firefox, perhaps updating / regressing to the next-latest nightly. |

You're probably right - I will upgrade the browser in a few days (I have some active windows open now I want to keep for a bit).
One of the problems I've run into with Firefox is updates - often times, to clear out any problems, I'll end up having to remove the various *.rdf files etc. and reinstall.
It's annoying, and I think it could be better-addressed in the installs. |
