Is there any way to have the Adblock filters persistent through the recent work in Mozilla's roaming profiles? Is that something on the roadmap, or is there no framework in roaming for extensions? |

Well, rue is stuck with Mozilla 1.3.1 for Mac OS 9, and it looks like no work is being done on profile roaming for Firefox, so we're not likely to use that particular framework, at least for now. The idea is still good, though. |

Well, rue is stuck..
I use os9 for a number of reasons; being stuck isn't one of them :P
.
Roaming profiles would naturally include the pref-file -- which is where Adblock presently stores its filters + settings. So, for mozilla, it follows that Adblock roams automatically, now. |

Ah, so that leaves, uh, masochism? :P
In all seriousness, regarding roaming, rue is right -- for now, that's one of various benefits of using the pref-system as the backend for filter-storage, though it does come with some limitations as well. |
