|

Hello
I must use a corporate proxy server ,
The 'denied sites' list of this proxy is quite restrictive and ads are often blocked.
When the proxy detect too many attempt to access a blocked site , it will disable the internet access.
Great but when it is ads/banners , it's hard to detecte the "access denied" proxy message.
That's why i've installed adblock.
Now the question :
At what level adblock acts?
If I request a webpage that contains an ad from a blocked site(by the proxy) , will this ad first pass by the proxy and then be detected or will adblock block the ad before my browser request the ad to the proxy?
hope my question is clear.
Thanks

Adblock should work perfectly for you.
If "Remove Ads" is enabled in Adblock's preferences the browser will not request the image at all. _________________ Adblock 0.5.3.042
