I just started using AdBlock (downloaded it about 30 minutes ago) and after looking through the preferences and browsing the forums for a good list of filters to use and the fact that the longer the list of filters, the slower FireFox loads pages....
It would be cool if the software could keep track of how many times each filter was invoked while surfing the web. This way, you could check the stats and determine which filters you aren't using very much/at all and trim down your filter list to just the filters you actually use.
If this has already been suggested elsewhere in the forum, I apologize for dupping it. If it's already in the software and I just couldn't find, I apologize for looking like an idiot (and please contact me so I know where to find it). |

It has been done Adblock Plus 0.7.1.2. Also, in that version, if you use simple filters, the speed is relatively independent of the length of the filter list. In the awaited 0.7.2 it will be even quicker. |

No longer true with adblock plus and filters which are not regexps.

Moreover, this is already part of the features of Adblock Plus. |
