Would it be possible to separate my own filters from the long list that I have imported from Filterset.G? My own filters are the ones that I have to maintain, and they're the most likely to fail, so it would really help to see them grouped separately.

(Before an unnamed developer chimes in, yes I know Adblock Plus does this Rolling Eyes )

If you're taking about the Adblock Filterset.G Updater extention, then it has no useful options. What I did was add my filter, and it was sorted alphabetically amongst all the other filters. It will soon be hard to remember what I've added - let alone find it. Remember we're talking about identifying my filters from others by the characters in my regular expressions, which are often unreadable to begin with.

It would be easy categorize imported filters, like bookmarks, by source, by function, or whatever. Just gimme a tree view, then I don't even have to expand the Filterset group. Genius! Wink

you're right that the feature you want isn't in Adblock yet

but there is a part of the autoupdate extension that lets you specify a list of filters that remain, even if the autoupdate list changes -- it's separate from the imported list

I thought this would help you accomplish what you wanted to do
