Greetings Fellow Adblockers!

Question please:

I know AdBlock has a 'site blocker' which is excellent, however, is there a way to specify blocking all sites except a few?

I have a kiosk which allows users to access our library cataloque along with five other websites, so as you can see I need to block all except the five sites. Is there an 'exception rule' I could use?

e.g: to block *.com except test.com, and foob.com.

Thanks

Yes, is possible using the whitelisting feature... Smile

I can add something like:

Site that you want whitelist with @@ at begin

Code:
@@google.pt
@@wikipedia.org
http://
https://
ftp://
mms://

(i don't remember more protocols Sad)
In this case you are bloking all sites except the google and wikipedia.
In theory this filter work... i can say if they are the best option.. Razz

Has anyone ever told you that you're a genius?

Thank you pal, and thank you AdBlock developers.

Genius... LOL not so much. Adblock dev are genius, im a user that read help files, FAQ, and forum posts Wink.

[Edited 10-Jun-2006]
A small change for the previous suggestion.
Code:
/\w|\d/
@@google.com
@@wikipedia.org

Using \w and \d instead of protocols is more effective.

Hey,

Thanks anyways for your help, I would read the manual and FAQ and such likes but as this was a very small problem for me it wouldn't have been feasable for me to take the time and go through the manual. This is the one reason forums are so successful! Long live the forum and people like you.

That is why I thank you and your forum, FAQ and help file reading abilities.

Peace.
