Hi, im new to firefox, what i was wondering is if theres a way to block non-image content.

In some web sites there are non-image or non-flash contents or ads which i find terribly annoying.

For example, is there any way to block such tags.

<H1>This is the annoying text</H1>

Adblock can only block embedded content. For example, you can block most google text ads by blocking googlesyndication.com (because most google ads are severed in the form of googlesyndication.com/ads.js). However, you can't block anything like <div>some ads here</div>. You can however filter out such things by using the usercontent.css file. You can also use the RIP (Remove It Permanently) extension for this purpose.

I would be grateful if you help me editing "usercontent.css".
I tried to handle it myself but looks too complicated for me.
Here are the tags i want to block, i want to block these tags only for the appropriate web site.

-------

<table width=519><tr><td align=center>
<p style='border-top-color:red; border-left-color:red;
border-right-color:red; border-bottom-color:red; border-width:5px;
border-style:solid; padding:8px'>

<font color='orange' size=5><b>Ogame Commanderlari icin daha fazla bilgi:</b></font><br />
<br>Her zaman gösterilen filo slotu sayisi!
<a href='https://www.gamepay.de/'><font color='orange' size=4>
<u>Tüm bunlar commander abonelerini bekleyen yenilikler!</u></font></a>
</p>
</td></tr></table>

Element hiding in Adblock Plus 0.7 can be used to do this sort of thing: http://adblockplus.mozdev.org/filters.html#elemhide_basic
