|Hello Adblock crew,
I found a very strange bug with Adblock and Duplicate Tab. The bug is only noticable when Adblock is first installed and after that Duplicate Tab, and DOM Inspector must either not be installed or disabled.
When Duplicate Tab is first installed or when DOM Inspector is installed and enabled, everything works as intended.
In Duplicate Tab I add a few commands to the Firefox commandset and I do this in the following way:
<command id="cmd_duplicatetab" />
<command id="cmd_duplicatetabinwindow" />
<command id="cmd_mergeWindows" />
<commandset id="duplicate-tab-commands" />
I do it like that because I also overlay the commandset of SeaMonkey / Mozilla Suite, which has another id. The commands from Duplicate Tab are always added to the Firefox commandset except when the conditions I described above are met. Then only an empty "duplicate-tab-commands" commandset is added.
There are no problems with adding keysets.
I really have no idea if this is a Firefox bug or an Adblock bug, but I just wanted to notify you about this. Maybe you have any idea what or why this is happening? This bug occurs on Firefox 1.5 but I, for as yet, wasn't able to reproduce it on a recent trunk nightly, so changes are that it may be a Firefox bug which has been fixed on the trunk.
I will release an update of Duplicate Tab where the commands are directly added to the Firefox commandset (which works without problems) in a few days, so at least this bug won't happen again with Duplicate Tab.
