it's already possible -- you just have to figure out what the URL of the image is first

the best way to to that is to R-Click in the page and select "View Background Image" then copy the URL out of the address bar.

Then paste it into your filterset.

thanks zachariah,

my bad, atually i wanted to block background color, meaning

<body bgcolor=#d0d0d0

changing above to white, the way prefbar extension does it. is that possible with adblock?

No apology necessary -- I just pointed out that what (I thought) you were trying to do wasn't an odd request and letting you see the info given to others.

To solve your problem I'd look at the greasemonkey Firefox extension, or just manually edit your userContent.css file.

It's not possible with adblock, as adblock only deals with objects it knows the URL of.
