I've detected, that webpages can detect, what elements are blocked by Adblock and that they can read out even the filter, that caused the blocking. (If javascript is active)

This is related to http://aasted.org/adblock/viewtopic.php?t=2554.

If you want to test this, try my testcase: http://home.arcor.de/jonha/adblocktesten.htm

I think, that
a) Webpages should not be able to detect Adblock.
b) Webpages should not be able to detect what elements have been blocked.
c) Webpages should not be able to detect what filter has caused the blocking.

(Sorry for my bad english)

I think so too, MCM, or whoever else is actively developing adblock what do you think?

Yep, adblock can only block elements based on their URLs, it can only block javascript if it's loaded from a seperate URL.

Especially b) and c) seems rather critical. I think that many sites will try to detect Adblock in Futute, and to prevent that, there should be no easy way to do so. And these filters are my private data. I don't want any webpage to be allowed to get them.

Adblock Plus has this Problem, too.
