Using Adblock v.5 in Firefox 1.0.7. I accidentally blocked an image and not knowing how to unblock it, I uninstalled Adblock and reinstalled it. When that didn't resolve the issue, I uninstalled Firefox, deleted all the folders/files left behind, reinstalled it and reinstalled Adblock. The image was still blocked. When I go to Adblock Preferences, the window is blank. Load Images From the Originating Website Only is NOT checked.

How can I retrieve the list of blocked items and fix this problem?

When you did your uninstall, did you get rid of the profiles directory?

And the checkbox is not checked. I did delete my profile (twice).

can you see the image in another browser (opera / ie / etc) or from another computer?

Yes, I see the images in IE. I also see them if I disable Adblock in Firefox. They are Flash images if that helps.

(there are many, many threads lately about a problem with Flash ... but on the off chance you didn't see any of them, here's a new question for you, to help troubleshoot this...)

is the 'obj-tabs' option de-selected?

Obj-Tabs was checked. I unchecked it and that fixed the problem.

P.S. What is "obj-tabs" anyway?

It's an object hovering by flash or java for quick adblocking, by the way the latest dev of adblock plus obj-tab works with firefox 1.0.7, and 1.5b2 , but's it's for testing i.e. not as stable/new features/bug fixes.

How odd; I'd always had those enabled and it wasn't a problem until recently. In fact the page loads just fine on our other computer, which has obj-tabs enabled. Oh well, not a big deal.
