hi,

i love adblock, but i miss being able to click on an ad at salon to get a daypass.

is there a way to exempt salon.com from the rules in filterset.g?

or a version that doesn't mess with salon?

would appreciate your tips.

thanks.

1a. That's a great suggestion.

1b. I use CTRL+Shift+B to temporarily disable Adblock to see the daypass, then once I've acquired it (held my hand over my face while the ad plays) and I'm at the article, I then do the CTRL+Shift+B again to re-enable adblock, and then I refresh the page to hide the ads.

2. G likes to be emailed with requests for false positives -- this might fall under that category

3. whitelisting in general is not yet a feature of adblock, but dreamed about by many in previous threads, and probably a feature in an upcoming version of adblock

Thanks Zach. I'll email G and see if he can work his magic on salon. Probably not without whitelisting...

Wish I knew how to code so I could put it in... Seems simple enough from a logic perspective.

If you set your bookmark to http://salon.com/news/cookie.html the page will refresh, and you'll have a daypass cookie automatically set.

It lets you skip the ad entirely!
