Hi all!
I have always tried to keep my adblock filters small and clean. Though these might not be that useful to people with 4gig processors i think this can help the maority of us. So I started this thread. Post your minimalist filters here. There aren't any specfic attributes but I think they shouldn't exceed 4-5 lines. While we are at it we can help others optimize theirs also. So feel free to post. Here are mine some self written and some taken from this forum.
Code:
[Adblock]
/[\W\d](double|fast)click|click(stream|thrutraffic|thru|xchange)|value(stream|xchange|click)|dime(xchange|click)|a(tdmt|twola|dsdk)|(casale|right|vibrant|real)media[\W\d]/
/[\W_](onlineads?|ad(banner|click|-?flow|frame|ima?g(es?)?|_id|js|log|serv(er|e)?|stream|_string|s|trix|type|v|vert(s|ise|ising|isement(s)?)?|xchange)?)[_\W\d]/
/\/(banner|popup)(s)?(_\d|\d|\/|.*\?)|affiliate(s)?|\?(id)?(adid|reffer|clickTAG|popup)=|phpAdsNew|ukb(c)?_|sportingodds/
/[\W\d]googlesyndication|yimg\.com(.*/adv/|/a[^u])(?!vision)|imdb\.com(\/google|.*\.swf)|\/js_source\/|gator|spinbox|intelli(-direct\.com|srv\.(js|net)|txt)|falkag|qks(rv|z)\.net|connextra\.com|industrybrains\.com[\W\d]/

Please note that parts of those filters were taken from Filterset.G.

My big filter that catches most content:

/[\/\.\?\_\=\-\&\d](get|se?rve?r?|blog|sky|view|text)?ad(s|se?rve?r?|client|vert(is(e|ing))?|id|\d|js|data)?(wrap(per)?|type|space|size|pop(p?er|up)?|end)?[\d\/\.\?\_\=\&]/

This is built from ground up by me, so is pretty me-specific. The rest of my filters are pretty custom stuff, like:

/\/intellitxt\//
/domainpark\.cgi\?.+\=.+/
/kanoodle\.com\/cgi-bin\/(k|c)ontext.cgi/

/bene.

Wouldn't processing that take a good bit more cpu than simpler regexes?

There's not a noticeable change in CPU usage while loading pages between Adblock enabled and Adblock disabled on a 1.2 GHz machine with this filter, at least, not in my simple tests.

The filters in Filterset G probably have significantly more iterations - G's put heaps more work into them than I have into this. But this one is built from the ground up for my browsing habits, so should use less CPU than the more generic set.
