Hi rue,
first of all, thanks for your great plugin. It rocks !
Since build 31 (I would say), adblock does not deinstall properly. It still appears in the Tools menu. If I erase the jar file by hand, Firebird does not work after deinstall. THe main window loads but nothing happens.
I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Firebird/0.7+
Cheers,

Pasqui.

Pasqui:
Did you install to profile or root? If you installed to root, there was some component-registry code that wasn't being properly removed. The issue was resolved in nightly 32.
.
Someone in another thread mentioned opening the bookmarks sidebar (or menu) makes the browser functional again.

Hey- would someone post their Firebird App-directory:chrome:chrome.rdf file somewhere?- with adblock installed.
.
I just realized I may need to tweak the sequence-removal code to account for firebird changes.

Hi rue,
I installed adblock in my profile directory. The deinstall problem also occurs with latest build (33).
When I go back home this evening, I will upload the files you requested.

Cheers,

Pasqui.

ps: actually, both "before and after deinstall" copies of the file would be useful. also- if you could zip the overlayinfo directory, as well.

Well, those are all in order.
.
Could you do the same for your profile dir: chrome.rdf + overlayinfo -> before/after -> zip + post?

After deinstall, adblock.jar is still present in chrome directory and adblock is activated after Firebird restart. If I erase adblock.jar, Firebird does not load (which seems logical to me).

Got it -- a loop which iterates the two chrome-dirs wasn't properly delimited.Oh good grief- I found the problem.
