As it is, the site is virtually unreadable on my LCD. Light gray text on white background???? Please change it before I go blind.

This is a long-standing problem that no one seems to care about fixing. I solved it by going to http://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/ and dragging the "zap colors" bookmarklet to my personal toolbar. Then, when I have to go to the Adblock site, I can just click on the bookmarklet and everything is nice and readable again. Smile

Larry, that is an awesome workaround. I'll surely recommed it to people who have this problem in the future Smile

If it is difficult for folks with good vision, think about what it is like for those many folks with less than good vision. Some may know how to cope with it, but many may not.

FireFox is heading for a larger market. AdBlock is a key Extension.

Free, or not, the continued refusal to take the simple and quick actions needed to remedy this defect shows a callous disregard for users.

Due to the effectiveness of AdBlock, and it's popularity, this does not work to aid in the success of FireFox.

Perhaps the developers are just busy with more important things.

Please G, you know better than that. There is no reasonable excuse.

Excuse me? I'll thank you not to tell me what I do or do not know.

You're partially right; you _should_ know better than that (especially in light of the long history of this glaringly obvious problem, and numerous requests in various forums to effect the _simple_, _quick_, easy remedy - see Zachariah's post above for just a few - and the needless, long term, on-going failure to effect the fix, coupled with your apparent prolific presence right here).

While no offense was intended, your first of two frankly silly responses exemplified the very same disregard for the problem this causes this thread's OP (the very same problem it obviously causes countless others), and the very reasonable request for a remedy. Then, add to it the "excuse me..." bit, and it's clear that you really have nothing of substantive value to offer in _this_ thread; unlike many other threads and your site, were your great work is obvious, and is likewise much appreciated.

So, I'll still buy the beer. I'll be the one in the corner wearing the text contrast-enhancing shades... Best Regards

On my first visit to the AdBlock, the very first thing I noticed was the "washed out" color scheme.

It is very difficult to read.
