I also got a load of errors when using the Check Parent Links function on h*p://suprnova.org. I think it's how that particular page has javascript checking each link (to see if they work) so on each row of those giant tables, an error window popped up.

These are the filters I have which affect the page:

/ads/
/sideads/
banner
http://m1.netstatbasic.net/

I've turned the 'Check Parent Links' function anyway as I don't really understand what it does (and I have read Rue's explaination but it's a tad too technical) and Adblock seems to work fine without it.

More info to Rue, as I've just tried it again, it's the same error the bottom section which is quoted in the [ ].

In my case it says:

Code:

Adblock LinkCheck Error: h*p://home.cast.net/~urgrandma7788/template/info.gif

javascript:alert("No known view mirror");

[Exception..... (same error as images above)]

I've *'d the URL as to not make any direct links to the place.

Melon and Guest:
I just posted nightly 25 pass-2, and you should find LinkCheck in working order, now.

Melon:
LinkCheck (aka. "check parent-links") just checks any links an element might be inside. For example:
< a href="adworld.com" >
spacer< img src="innocent-url.com" >
< /a >
If you'd set a filter for adworld, this image would then be blocked.

Thanks for your hard work and quick response.

How comes it always looks like you're the only developer when there's supposed to be 3? Smile

Adblock is a labour of love -- developed and offered here for all, in cheerful tribute to the Internet's altruistic roots.
