Hi There

Discovered Firefox and Adblock a month ago. I love it!!!

I'm using FilterSetG (awesome!). My homepage is www.yahoo.com

How do you block that centered ad banner at the Yahoo homepage? Yeah, the biggest one in the middle. I want to block that whole centered piece, not just the pictures.

I'm not too educated in programming or writing codes and stuff, so your help is GREATLY appreciated.

Regards,

There are certain things that adblock can't block. To block those, you need to make use of the usercontent.css file. Click the search link for the forums, and search for "usercontent", there are many threads on the subject.

Also, if you have a yahoo acct, you should try using http://my.yahoo.com instead. You can customize it, and it has far fewer ads.

Adding a filter for content.overture.com and enabling "check parent links" should do it.
