hi all,

anyone here familar with the following?:

Ad Blocking Resources
http://www.staff.uiuc.edu/~ehowes/resource.htm

i use this ad list with outpost. can it be used with the adblock project too?

If the first five lines look like this, remove them:
-ad.cgi
#CLink
%23CLink
%2Fads%2E
%3Fad%2E
.
Then, search/replace to add an asterisk (*) at the start + end of each line.
.
Finally, set this text-string as the first line:
[Adblock]

is this implying that you can instead put your list of filters in a seperate file? if so what do you name it and where does it go?

Put them to a text file with any name you like, go to Adblock Options, and select "Import filters". Adblock then asks if you want to replace your old filters or append. Adblock keeps the filters in the file prefs.js, which you can find from your profile directory.
