is there anyway to disable/bypass it, if not how do i uninstall it? because unfortunately it's stopping external windows that only work externally. example is here on these forums, if you write a post or reply and you add an "emoticon" from the left, when you click " View more Emoticons" it as to open in a new popup to work but now it opens in a tab and so won't work. this applies to other forums too. |

i've managed to remove this.
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Firefox\Profiles\default\pjs6nvmq.slt\chrome\overlayinfo\browser\content
open "overlays.rdf" with a text editor and remove this line.
<RDF:li>chrome://windowq/content/windowQ.xul</RDF:li>
then
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Firefox\Profiles\default\pjs6nvmq.slt\chrome\overlayinfo\navigator\content
open "overlays.rdf" again and remove the same line again. that fixes it.
i also edited the chrome.rdf file and removed all instances of windowsq. but be carefull, back up first!!
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Firefox\Profiles\default\pjs6nvmq.slt\chrome |
