I'd like to use ctrl+shift+f for search engine as I used it before installing AdBlock. Is it possible? (and of course I don't want to uninstall adblock )
I also tried the trick with bookmarks in this thread, but it doesn't work (Mozilla 1.7b).
Disableing AdBlock (ctrl+shift+b or ctrl+shift+k) doesn't help too. [/url] |

Here by I strongly suggest the Mr. Developer to restore the ctrl+shift+f to Mozilla default settings for searching google. It will be the most appreciatable.
Thanks very much.

There's a much better way. Via bookmark keywords, you can program any search to happen from your address-bar.
.
Step right in. |

It is good way (and I use it from now; thanks for advice), but not better :-/
Count with me: when I want to google a word ANYWORD I must type
1) ctrl+shift+F ANYWORD
2) ctrl+L G SPACE ANYWORD
The first possibility takes 10 strokes while the second takes 11.... |

There is even a better way. Change to Firefox, and do this:
3) ctrl-k ANYWORD enter
or even this
3b) ctrl-k ANYWORD alt-enter (will open the search results in a new tab)
I don't get. Firefox (and Thunderbid) being so good, why would anyone use the old Mozilla Seamonkey anymore? |
