I've never really had problems with adblock, but using 53043 and ff 2.0, lately i've noticed a few things slipping through that I know should be blocked.. specifically that should be triggered by parent links. It's very random.. I visit a page, the image shows up, I refresh it, it's blocked, I refresh again it shows up.. Is there any possible explanation to this? |

Your symptoms are dependent on what filters you are using. Adblock is not responsible for anyone's filters. |

Even though I know it's not my filters, I made a simpler filter that should block this image linking to the filter shown here, and as you can see, it does not. does this prove my case?

Blocking the image itself of course does work. the issue is parent link filters, some are working, some are not, and it's not just with the page above. so it's not dependant of the filters. it's just random. i've tried reinstalling adblock, but to no avail. |

By the way the filter in my first post got rid of a lot more than just that banner. _________________ Running: WinXP(SP2)
