Suppose that http://www.somesite.com/directory/1.jpg is an ad. Suppose also that http://www.somesite.com/directory/thumbs/1.jpg is NOT an ad. What is the best way to filter the add without axing the thumb?

I tried the filter below, but that removed all images (and if the extension was not on the end, the page too).

/http:\/\/www\.tgpsaloon\.com\/.*(?!images).jpg/

It would help if the provided regular expression syntax provided a way to say "reject filter if this string appears here".

The wildcard was misplaced: /http:\/\/www\.tgpsaloon\.com\/(?!images).*\.jpg/
