check this page out http://www.dlssonline.com/index.asp

i have the filter /\/a(d|ds|dServer)\// which is blocking

http://www.dlssonline.com/images/ads/banner.eda.gif
and
http://www.dlssonline.com/images/ads/banner.electronic.correspondence.gif

so far so good.....
but when i try to view which element(s) are blocked (Ctrl+Shift+A) these images are not showing up in the Ad-Blockable list, yet they are still being blocked.... Also the Adblock Tab is showing up in a rather strange way.... It seems as if the page is not being rendered properly and doesn't completely load (perhaps why the Ad-Blockable list is incomplete)

strangely, if i add the filter "flash/swflash.cab" (just to block the Shockwave URL) the page renders correctly (including blockage of filtered items) and the Ad-Blockable shows correctly what elements have been blocked

My guess is the page is constructed strangely and this is not an issue with Adblock. but what do i know....lol

MW:
Two things. First: Adblock uses relative-positioning and overflows to "float" its tabs. Unfortunately, this only works at present with fixed-position media. The flash-banner on that page is contained within a floating div, so Adblock's tab is being rendered doubly-relative. Double-relative positioning may not be permissible by spec, meaning cases like this may never render proper.
.
Second, that page is whack. Their "banner" didn't even point to a valid location, so the object was rendered empty. It was further positioned to lay atop the page-center -- where other content already existed.
.
Btw, the banner I'm speaking about isn't caught by your filter:
http://www.dlssonline.com/flash/banner.dlss.swf
.
Lastly, are you sure the blocked images aren't in your list? They should be toward the bottom, in red-italics.

that page IS "wack"...lol

that's why i figured it was the page not adblock...
i did look at the html source and, correct the flash file is not even at avalid location....

Yes, i am sure that the blocked items were not listed, neither in black nor in red italics.... My guess is the page is not completely loading (apparently getting "stuck" on the empty flash file), i'm assuming therefore the Ad-blockable list is not complete, unless i specifically block the flash file then the items appear in the list.....

i guess this can be filed under yet another stupidly constructed webpage....

Long Live Adblock!!
