I just installed 0.5d1 in Firebird 0.7 and I can't see any flash on any page...it doesn't seem like others are having this problem. I used to have the flash-click-to-view extension installed; I deleted the jar file but it still shows up in my FB extensions menu. Any chance this is the problem/other suggestions? Thanks. |

Luckily we're knowledgeable on other extensions :P
.
Yes, Flash-Click-To-View is your problem. It modified the userContent.css file in your Profile > Chrome directory. You'll need to either edit or remove this file. If you edit it, just remove all lines referring to flashblock (or something like that). If you delete it, even better.
.
What's more, you need to blow away a few files and edit the installed-chrome.txt file. Check out the Deinstallation section in Adblock's faq. Just realize you're doing this for flashblock.jar. |
