how does Adblock handle the filter match sequence?
Is it a loop testing each filter one and one, or is it one preassembled or:ed regular expression?

I guess the latter is faster.

Adblock tests one filter at a time. To speed things up (slightly), Simple filters in the url-format which match the src-attribute's host are singled-out and tested first.
.
So, if you were testing an image with the src "http://adtopia.com/stuff.jpg", and you had filters for stuff and http://adtopia.com, the second would be forcibly tested first.
