You are most likely using the (extremely useful) Adblock option "Check Parent Links". I'm guessing those pics are links, and those links match the filter you find in Adblock-able Items.

Use the "Overlay Flash" function of Adblock. Press ctrl-shift-F (or use mouse and menus), then left-click the overlay, create the filter normally and press ctrl-shift-F again.

I can verify that. The filter I use:

/[.\/]intellitxt[.\/_]/

doesn't block those text-ad-links when using "hide", but it does when using "remove". Rather obvious solution would be using "remove" ...
