That would definitely slow down the spammers. I'll look into it soon.

It's interesting, though, that some spammers are able to get around these captchas... I still see some spam user-registrations ...

I updated today as well. At first, Firefox claimed that Adblock was not compatible with 1.0, but installing from Mozdev solved that. My filters made it through the upgrade unharmed.

I think that Rue is referrring to the problem discussed in this thread, which seems to be remedied by updating to Java 1.5.

There is no problem running Adblock without Java on your machin ...
